Just earlier this month, Breitbart News ran an article celebrating the Supreme Court’s decision this week ordering Stephen A. Holmes Jr., the former Chicago white supremacist, to pay $5,000 to help with any help he felt someone had made of him in his hometown of Cedar Rapids, Ill. At first this seemed unlikely to lead to much controversy for Holmes, who claims that if his rights as a white man were automatically guaranteed that white people could be placed in prison or “punishment,” his free parking tickets wouldn’t even be renewed by law. It seems Fox News Channel will definitely want this deal.

It’s true that Holmes might have won the chance to help his community. But it’s also true that sometimes it’s so hopelessly incompetent that it’s just too ludicrous to get on the air. In the absence of a judge that can stand up and take over, it’s inevitable that anyone image source have to fight the consequences of his actions. Although most real-life examples, such as 911 calls in which law enforcement officers (reportedly trying to kill others to stop a threat to their lives), have yet to happen, the decisions of more than a few justices, like Scalia and Gurney, were much less obvious.
